I recently took my bumper off and did not find a fog light bracket. They are just bolted to the bumper. I have been told this bracket runs in the gapp under the license plate(not the open part but the part that is closed). My question is if this bracket is needed to help with the stability of the bumper and how does it mount up

alot of guys take it off a GT to reduce weight, the brackets weigh about 10-15lbs each, so my best guess is somebody took yours out and figured out a way to keep the foglights in there. i took mine off once but put them back on because i didnt like the look without lowering the car, they arent needed to support the front bumper
like riceslayer302 said the fog light bracket is not needed to help for stability of the bumper actually it doesn't come into contact with the bumper at all.
