So attempting to complete the fog light mod on the 95 where they can be run independently and the connector is stuck. Both clips have been removed but the plug won’t budge. I’ve used a flat head to try and pry it off to no avail. I don’t want to end up breaking the connector. Any ideas on how to break it loose? Pics attached below.

Different connectors have different retention methods, have you made sure you have defeated it properly? Due to arthritis my hand strength is shot so I use a couple of slip joint pliers with rubber padding to grip and protect the connector during the pull. Just don't pull on the wires themselves.

Yes I believe so, I relieved both of the prongs it just seems to not slip out. @Neuron

Any signs of overheating/melting? It has to come apart, they can be a bit of a pull to come apart sometimes. Can you post a close up picture showing what prongs you have defeated? I still suspect you have not defeated the proper retention parts.

No signs of th plastic being fused together that I see, I stuck a screwdriver around the perimeter of the connection and in fact it separated just fine. Will attempt to get a pic when I get home. To my knowledge it’s just the two silver prongs on either side. At least that’s all I can see @Neuron
