I rewired my foglights following the article from here: (go about halfway down) http://mustangworld.com/ourpics/hitech/rdtch1.htm

If you don't want to read the article, it's basically taking the power wire from the convertible switch and use it to power the foglights.

The foglights now work independently, however, my instuments will not light up. The fuse is not blown... what gives?

I hate to ask bud, but you didnt run the dimmer down while doing the rewire, did ya?

To double check, fuse 13 is for the instrument illumination.

Did you lose only instrument illumination, or also thinks like the HVAC lighting? I think the ashtray bulb is on the dimmed circuit (note I said that I thought it was - I cant remember for sure). THat'd be the closest thing to the area where you did the rewire and I doubt you disturbed that light.........

Nope, ive tried all positions on the dimmer. I checked fuse 5, which is supposed to be instrumentation, but i'll go check 13 now

That's great to hear that it was something so simple - we like those fixes.
