Folks with the MGW Shifter - Do you have it rotated at all?

If so, by how much? I'm gonna install one soon and not sure I would bother doing that unless people rave about it and says its a must. Seems like it would look weird at least and maybe feel odd too.

just rotate the shifter knob if its uncomfortable

mine is rotated ever so slightly......the one that's posted looks like a pretty aggressive angle. Don't think I would like that much angle.

OH i totally forgot about that adjustment!

yeah..i dont have mine angled at all, its straight back. i only have my (stock) shifter knob twisted so that it seats in my hand properly.

Mine is rotated to a position that is comfortable to me and my driving style. I actually spent a good 20-30 minutes just adjusting the handle to the correct position. Mine is not as extreme as the one pictured but I would take the time to do it.

Yeah, mine is angled towards me a few degrees. Makes for less of a reach.

Ya I have mine angled about 20-30 degrees to the left so that its a little closer to my leg and not so much of a reach.

Mine is angled about like Tim's, but I have the orange handle which I believe is a little longer than the silver one. I would suggest driving it for a day or two without the boot. That way you can easily make small adjustments until you get it where it feels best to you.

When I installed mine, I put the trans in 5th gear, then made the handle as comfortable as possible. That's the furthest you're going to have to reach, so you might as well make it as close to you as possible.

I tried mine at a few different angles. It didn't feel right. Kept mine straight.

It's all up to personal preference and not hard to change positions.
