My GT still scares me me whenever I go WOT. Under "normal" driving, the car does feel somewhat lacking, though I can still leave traffic behind without knowing it.

i'm thinking that my car will scare me when i get it back. i have driven 500hp cars and they were fast enough to give me tunnel vision. i still dont know why i'm wanting 100 more than that!

that being said, modding doesnt stop. at least not till you cant drive it on the road anymore

I was bored as ~~~~ with my GT before it was down for a month.

After it was on the road again I fell in love all over.

Now im bored as ~~~~ with it again. I didnt even go WOT for like a week and a half almost just to get un-used to the power, and then I went WOT tonight a few times... it just seems like when I bought the car it would shove me back in the seat hard. Now even with all the mods it feels like a donkey pushing a cruise ship at times.

It needs some odds and ends fixed... but the real fixing is done via boost. Turbo, to be exact... Im sure nitrous would do for now but I want to get the PonyDown turbo kit so damn bad its retartededed.

Or even the average 600cc sportbike owner I know after riding my R1 for a couple hours the GT feels about as slow as running on foot, and my daily driver Honda Accord feels like walking on thumb tacks.

Yup, thats it. From reading over it you just need a fuel pump, injectors, MAF, and a tune... other misc. small odds and ends im sure as well, but as far as the kit itself its pretty complete.

Sucks cause I may be able to get ahold of that money, but I need to invest it in something aside from the Mustang.

Maybe ill get lucky.

I just got my tax back but I just had a baby girl . She is 3 months old so I don't know if I will ever buy that kit cause every single $ goes for her.

I called the owner about not for lower car , he told me to get just a aftermarket k-member then I should be good to go. I already have a svt focus pump on my car and do have lighting 90mm maf sitting in my room

Please let me know if you get it cause I really want it bad, even I should not spend on my car .

Sadly you will even get used to the bike Now it took a few months for me....the busa just felt like it was going to literly PEEL me off the bike. I honestly couldnt hold on in 3rd gear...my head would start rolling back, my hands would start peeling off the grips and my whole body would start sliding back....pretty scarey actually!!!! And I would have let let out to shift the thing.

After a few months now I am able to law down on it in 1st and hold on well. Now although the bike still feels stupid fast...its not near as stupid as it was.

Fortunatly for ME, when I go from the bike to the car....the car doesnt feel slow because the bike has a different type of pull since your riding on top of it. Car pulls you back into your seat...so it keeps me happy and not thinking my car is weak

Nothing wrong with supporting your family man. Sometimes people dont have their priorities straight and choose other less important things over that.

It would be nice to get that kit, but ive blown too much $ and need to start saving some... trying to invest my tax returns instead of put it towards that kit, even though I really want to... lol.

Well I'm new to bikes so the gixxer 600 should hold me over for a while lol. Your right about the pull though....2 different worlds when comparing WOT in a car and a bike.

turbo kit comes off. all factory emissions components must be present and functional. catalytic converters must be OEM and unmodified. all add on aftermarket components must have a CARB EO number, no exceptions.

well if u run nitrous it just makes your car feel extremely slow especially right after you spray it then try and run it on motor lol. but yea i can see where you are coming from though. my bike makes my car feel like crap watching the speedo slowly climb. when the bikes speedo just jumps numbers lol. i say its time to start building some more lol
