For Sale: 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe
Tag info: Manufactured 1968, San Jose, Ca., hardtop, Engine: V8, 289CID, 2 valve carb.
VIN Info: Hardtop, Standard interior & seats, Original exterior paint: Wimbledon White (currently Lexus Pearl White), Red vinyl bucket seats, Axle: 2.79:1, Transmission: C-4 Automatic.
Odometer: 28048 (appears to be actual miles, verification coming soon)
Condition: Over-all very good curb appeal.
Exterior: New paint in excellent condition (but not exact factory code color), very minor trace of underlying rust or imperfection at obscure points. Good tires. Bumpers nicely chromed. Some body trim parts and hubcaps have slightly diminished brightness.
Undercarriage in clean and in excellent condition, almost no rust seen, mechanically sound. Newer exhaust.
Engine bay is clean, some corrosion around battery area.
Interior appears to be all original, unrestored. Carpet intact but sun-bleached in areas, steering wheel with single crack and some finish wear. Dash with some wear and diminished chrome brightness. Gages and knobs functional. Seats (front and back) are excellent condition, appear to be original. Door panels are excellent condition, appear to be original.
Add on’s and Mods: 302 mild camshaft, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carburetor, rebuilt transmission with shift kit, rebuilt suspension with swaybar, new radiator.
