2008 Ford Shelby GT - ONE OWNER - 31,800 miles
Production of 2008 Shelby GT aimed at 2,300 to assure exclusivity for collectors.
Over 6,000 2007's were produced making the 2008 model the premier choice of collectors for rareity.
Shelby GT models begin life as a specially-equipped Mustang GT assembled at the AutoAlliance International plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. The cars are then shipped to the Shelby Automobiles facility in Las Vegas for transformation
For 2008, the highly-coveted Shelby GT is available in a new paint combination of Vista Blue with Silver stripes. This car has a TruFiber Ram Air hood with hand painted silver stripes and medium blue pin stripping. Strips wrap entire hood underside.
Under the hood, the engine is improved with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Package to increase output of the 4.6-liter V-8 to 319 horsepower and 330 lb.-ft. of torque. Shelby GT comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission featuring a Hurst short-throw shifter for precise shift action.
Each car will feature an authentication plate on the center dashboard, as well as a matching tag under the hood for documentation in a forthcoming registry. This car is Number 683 of 2,300 and is hand autographed by Carol Shelby in 2009 with the vehicle production number on the passenger side airbag cover in blue marker.
This Shelby has a very unique custom interior including:
⁃ All trim pieces have been painted in Vista Blue to match the cars exterior.
⁃ Center Counsel was paired and striped to match exterior striping
⁃ Custom KatzKin (katzkin.com/) two tone leather in blue and silver on all four seats and door panel inserts.
