For that empty void...

I was thinking about ways to put gauges into the empty space where the stock CD player used to be. Does anyone think that the Auto-Meter Gauge cage for the 87-93 stangs will fit in that space? I am willing to make some modifications (on the cage, not the dash), but I don't want to go overboard if it just won't work. I would also love to hear some other ideas.
I just can't stand the pocket thing or covering it up with plastic, and I also would rather not have the pillar application.

Or you could just go with the dash bezel and steering column bezel.

Or you can relocate the AC panel down there and mount the gauges where the AC goes. This way, the gauges are closer to your field of view.
