On Saturday, I went to Starbucks and met some really great people. Surprisingly, some had questions about some things on my car but mainly to do with my HIDs. The guy that owns the company I bought them through is offering a NICE discount on a different website and I thought that I would share with the people here since he can't post any information regarding his company here.

If you want a kit, he is letting them go for $255 shipped which is actually less than what I paid for mine. The price is $40 off his normal pricing without shipping costs calculated in. If you are interested in picking up some of these HIDs, you can PM me and I will give you the information to get in touch with him. Or if it is OK with a mod or admin, I can just post the contact info in this thread. Just be sure to tell him that Nick referred you from StangNet. I asked him if it would be OK to tell people about the offer away from his sponsor area of a different messageboard and he said he would still honor the discount for people as long as I referred them over. I just hope that this doesn't go against any rules here, because I am just trying to hook people up with some nice lighting for a good price.

Here are the bulb sockets that he carries, and the pricing is for ALL kits (except the Mustang headlamp projectors and kit) that he sells in any color temperature. 6000K, 8000K, and 10,000K are available:

9004 (87-93)
9007 (94-04)
H1 (projector low beam)
H3 (projector high beam)
H13 (05+ Mustang, light wiring needed)

what all consists in the conversion  might try and scroung up the cash
It's plug and play, but you lose your highbeams. Disconnect the battery first and foremost. You connect a red wire to the positive terminal, and the black to the negative. This grounds and supplies power. The harness has a socket that is designed to fit your stock socket to supply the power to the ballasts. You then mount the ballasts and feed the wires through to the headlight assembly. Carefully place the HID bulb into the socket and tighten the socket ring around it to secure it into the headlamp on both sides. Then, you just connect the wires together. Mount the ballast on the other side and do the same in connecting, but you will have to run the wire carefully to the other side of the car. You leave the stock socket on the other side unplugged, and just tuck it away from water. You can even get some plastic and cover it up, then tape it to secure it from moisture.

It's not hard at all, took me about 30 minutes at the most. If you will be at SB on Saturday night I can pop the hood and show you how I ran things. It's really really easy, and you do get instructions on how to install them with the kit.
