Ok, I just finished installing my QA1 K member yesterday and tomorrow I'm taking it in for an alignment. The pictures below show the driver side wheel pointing straight (normal) but the passenger side wheel is turned in some. For you guys who've installed one of these, is that the way it was with your wheels prior to alignment?

I have to drive about 20 miles to the nearest alignment shop tomorrow and I don't want to screw something up. I've triple checked over all my work and everything was done by the book and torqued to spec.

That's a LOT of toe in. You can adjust the toe with tie rod ends. Just make the wheels look streight and it will drive well enough to get you to the shop. You'd better not drive it like that though.

Yeah take some toe out. There are lots of DIY toe-setting guides on the net, just do a google search to find your favorite!

Adjusting the tie rod ends is done by loosing the nut and turning the tie rod, correct?
Forgive me for not doing a search but i'm at work and I have an appointment tomorrow at the alignment shop so I need to do this tonight. I did a clutch swap, header and k member install but i'm a little ignorant with tie rod adjustment.

Yes, loosen the nut then spin the inner tie rod screwing it into or out of the tie rod end more; then, tighten the nut back up so the tie can't rotate and is set in that position.

With the K-member kit, did you put a bumpsteer kit on? If not, you'll probably need one or you'll have lots of toe change (bumpsteer) when driving around town over bumps etc...

I haven't added a bumpsteer kit yet but I will soon. I'm running the stock A arms for now until I can complete the front end with tubular arms, coil overs, etc. I loosened up the nut last night and was turning the tie rod by hand but didn't know what I was doing so i reversed order and put the nut back on.

So to get this right I loosen the nut and turn the tie rod by hand without having to unbolt anything else? If that's it then that's what i'll do to get this thing drivable for the alignment shop.
