Roush Ford 427 Cobra

Hey guys,
Well I know that this is for Mustangs and espiecally Saleens, but currently my dad owns a Original 427 Cobra with weber carbs. It's black and it's not a clone or a fake this is the real deal.. We are trying to get rid of it because quiet frankly it's to nice to do anything with so if anyone is interested in buying this car please let me know I would really appriecate it.. my dad has more details on it like the serial numbers and such so when I get some replys I'll hook you guys up with his email. Thanks again...

Deal

Wouldn't think of it. I have my suspicions here. People with CSX 2000's and 3000 cars need little help selling them! We will see.

Stranger things have happened.

A machine shop owner friend of mine invited me over today. In his "farm" type garage sits his one owner 1967 GT500( he is the original owner), a 12,000 mile pantera...original in almost every way....a 67 ( I think) galaxie 2 door with a 427, a SOHC cammer powered Cobra replica...a genuine Safir small block GT40.....third one built.....and tons of Ford 427 GT40 stuff...and I mean tons. When was the last time you saw a 427 aluminum side oiler block( I have never seen one and only heard rumors.....(he called it a cheater 427) .....that is genuine 1965 stuff...had a stringe experimental series only stamping numbers on it? I touched it so I could say I had!!!! Also, several HM injection...and Weber set ups. And, some Gurney Weslake heads. I was really amazed. I also saw 4 complete dry sump 427 oiling systems! OK, in todays world of very cool and efficient Saleens...speed and A/C all at the same time, this is the stuff that Shelby used to slay Ferrari.

As the baby boomers age, it is amzing to see what they have collected.

Hey guys,
Well I talked to my dad it's a COB car it came from England..anyways, he's not sure if he's ready to part with it yet.. I guess.. I will keep you all posted though so when the time comes it sounds like we won't have to much trouble selling it. Just a tid bit of info he has also owned the 1970 Parnelli Jones Boss 302, a 1966 GT-350 show winner, and currently we own the 427 and an original GT-40 Mk. 1B also just got rid of your 1993 Phillips 66 winston Cup car... I'll keep you all posted..
