Guys I'm thinking about buying a 1999 Ford F150 with 200k miles for dirt cheap. I know the engine will last forever but how is the 4x4 transmission in this thing? Are they prone to any problems?
I already test drive it and the tranny doesn't slip. The fluid is nice and red and doesn't smell burnt. Are they fairly cheap to rebuild? Thanks for any help!
