I was leaving work and a friend in his SN 95 raced another co-worker in his
03-F350 6.0 L diesel truck , they were side by side till about 50 and the truck just walked away till 100 mph and he ether let off or the computer stopped him.
Now i pretty shur the SN-95 was stock, and it does drive nice i have been in it, and it is no slouch ,the only mod i know that it has is exhaust that is why i said stock
what do you think., anyone else see anything like this ?:jaw:

yes, it is a 6.L turbo i think there rated @ 325 HP & 570 FT torque.. anyway i dont know about the driver they were full speed at 50mph (side by side)so i dont see how drivers played into it . the truck just pluuled away. like i siad i have rode in the SN95 and its not that bad..not like it is all wore out. its a clean car.
anyway i think the truck had a few mods.. to heavy to do that stock if you ask me.
I have a 86 5.0 i am building (the right way) and will have it on the road in a few weeks so we will see about restoring the 5.0 status at work. he has been taking a lot of heat. i guess they ran one other time and the truck was behind hime but he could not shake him truck road his but too 100 mph (like3 feet of his bumper)

Those trucks are crazy heavy, we have a 2005 F-350 dually with an eight foot bed and crew cab. With a full tank of diesel, it weighs in at just over four tons. It is surprisingly quick for what it is.

You can get an extra 100 ponies and 150 ft. lbs. of torque by just swapping in a chip, exhaust, and CAI in most diesels.

:stupid: My neighbors have 2 f350 duallies crew cab 8ft bed and their parents just bought an 07' single rear crew cab 8ft bed f350 fx4 lariat . They may be big but for what they are they haul ass...and those turbo diesels can be made to have an assload of power and tq. I have a vid of a 10second f250 powerstroke somewhere...built right they are definatly something to be reckoned with... :D

more data on the f350 , it is a 1ton b ut it is single wheel base and a short bed, but it is 4 wheels drive
another guy told me it only has intake air box, exhaust work , and fuel tuner. dont know what HP is. just know he walked away from that mustang !

have you every ran you stang agaist you truck..if your truck is stock. would not waste your time.. but if its not, might be nice to see what happens:flag:

those powerstrokes can be fast a buddy of mine had an exhaust and intake and a power tuner and put it to the performance setting, he took me for a ride in it and i think it could of beat my stang, felt like it could at least from a roll
