Ford Harmonic Balancer Damper 351W 50 oz?

hello guys im looking for a new Harmonic Balancer Damper for my 351W but im not sure which is best for my application (daily driver that can haul ass) ...... what should i go with the 28oz or 50oz? and what does this mean?

Your crank shaft has an imbalance built into it. It is FIXED and you must use a corresponding damper that will correct that imbalance. 351W have 28 oz. imbalance and must be corrected by ALWAYS using a 28 oz balancer and flywheel. Never mix different imbalance cranks, damper or flywheels.

What about a 66 mustang with a 302 and a C4? I was told that uses a 28oz as well

It really depends on what year the 302 is.

The biggest V8 Mustang engine available in 1966 was a 289, so a 302 is not stock in it.

302's up until 81' were all 28 oz imbalance. From 82' on they went to 50oz.

I think that's actually 81' when they switched to 50oz.
