I just ordered an 05 Roush Convertable and I am heading to the dealership today to discuss adding some performance parts and I have a few questions. Please pardon my ignorance but I am new to the 05 Stangs and I am trying to learn as much as possible.
1. I think I am going with the Ford Racing ceramic coated shorty headers...anyone have any experience with these? Performance increases etc.?
2. I am also doing the Roush pulley set...any pros and cons?
3. Since these will be purchased from the dealer should they still be covered under warranty? I want to keep my warranty in tact for the first 6 months or so.
4. If I do the FR 4.10 gears, should I expect an increase in noise (whine) Also, with the 4.10's will I still be able to maintain decent highway mileage and not a horribly high RPM at around 75?
5. If I choose to install the headers and pulleys, should they still be covered under warranty or will they have to install them to be covered.
6. If I do the 4.10 can Ford reflash the stock computer to get the spedo corrected or will I have to go to an aftermarket tuner?
