well i passed emissions and now its cam time! I was thinking somewhere along the lines of e303 with 1.72 rockers. My car is mainly street, hope to see the track this summer. I have twisted wedge heads, street heat intake, 65mm tb, 76mm mass air low comp (supercharger this summer)

I am just looking for a cam that has a nice lope to it and isnt spongy down low, but can pull all the way til a little over 5k Anyone running something similar to me? I cant really force myself to spend the cash for a custom cam either. How are the other alphabet cams?

I thought the "E" cam was designated for emissions legal?
could i be wrong?

yes you are right but its better than the stock cam. I had planned to pass emissions and then put a cam in.

Well the TFS stage one cam is designed specifically to match your heads, so I'd pick that one.

how about the stage 1 vs stage 2. I had a friend who ran a stage 2 on his 302 and loved it

I run a Lunati 51014 with 1.72s. It is similar to the stage 1. Has a little more duration. Love it.

My vote would be for the TFS Stage I. About the same intake durration, but a little extra help on the exaust side, and with 1.72's would make it go from .498/.510 (I think that's right) to .535/.548, which would be plenty of lift, more than the E cam. Plus you can't beat the price. I run the B cam on 1.7's and a 2* advance. I have plenty of low end and lots above 4000rpm, and it sounds mean as hell, but isn't a good daily driver's cam.
