Ford Racing Crate Motors?

Ok, anyone have any problems with a crate motor? We're looking at a 347 and trying to figure out the warranty (or lack there of)-it's a heck of a lot of $$ to spend if there is no real warranty. I mean, the limited warranty thing seems like the old "wynns warranty" used car dealers sold-you take it apart and if we think it we made a faulty part then we'll cover it.

I bought one of the first of the gt40 longblocks several years ago (before they were even listed in the ford catalog). Not a problem of any kind so far.

I've had no problems with my Ford crate motor.
