I have to replace my leaking stock radiator. Since I'm switching to a manual in the future I ordered a new Aluminum Jegs radiator without a trans cooler.

I have a ford racing 18,000 GVW stacked plate cooler to use on the transmission. It didn't come with instructions or any hose. If anyone else has this cooler what size hose did you use? The kit also comes with barbed fittings, but they are different sizes and don't connect to the stock hardlines. I want to get barbed fittings that will screw on to the stock lines to hold the hose better. Who else has a setup like this?

I'm not 100% sure on the size but I believe it should be around 3/8. The easiest way to hook all this up is to remove the hard lines from the trans and then push your rubber lines over the flared ends. The flares will help hold the lines on but you'll need some hose clamps. Double up on them to make sure it doesn't leak. I ran mine around the side of the rad to the cooler which I mounted in front of the rad. Helps hide alot of the ugly rubber lines.
