Ford Racing M-5400-A

Hey guys, does anybody have these kits, and if so what are the pros and cons. From my understanding, it is a bullit suspension package w/ Tokico Shocks/Struts and 600 front and 250 rear springs with an average lowering of 3/4in. I want the car to sit a little lower like 3/4-1in to get rid of that unsightly gap. It also comes w/ new sways. I know this is gonna give me a firmer ride, but at the same time I've heard of bad things w/ Tokico's going bad soon after install. Any advise would be great. Thanks

I have the kit on My 04, and it lowered it exactly 3/4 of and inch. the car sits just low enough to get rid of the excessive gap above the tires but still is high enough so I dont worry about draggin My exhaust. As for the Tokico struts/shocks, I have not seen and premature failures?? The car rides a little firmer than stock, but corners much flatter

I'm also looking at the M-5300-B springs. Im kinda torn between then two. I've heard some people say that when then car is the slightest lowered, the stock shocks take a beating and wears them out faster. True? In a way, I kinda want the 5300-B cause they are progessive springs, one the other hand, get the kit, and since the car will be torn apart, just do it all and possibly save in the long run. What shall I do?

Ford Racing claims the B-springs are designed to work with the stock shocks/struts. While I'm sure that's true, I'd bet there's some truncation of the shock/strut life due to the lowering, just probably not that much.
