I just picked up a ford racing supercharger for my car. I got the 42lb injectors, fuel pump, intake, exhaust, etc. Part # for supercharger is (M-6066-M463). I was wondering what I can do to maximize my boost psi and how much i can safely run through this supercharger? I was thinking pulley upgrade...but want to check with everyone else. what do you guys think?

if its the old roots style blower that is integrated with themanifold i wouldnt up the boost... 6lbs makes a lot of heat as it only an M90 blower. makes for a ton of tq tho.

The unit is a m112 not a m90.
Have it ported by Magnum Powers this reduces the heat factor by making it more efficent. Run a 10lb pulley, get it tuned.
Install a K&N FIPK it hates restrictions in front of the blower and the K&N is the freest flowing out there.
You should see awesome torque right off idle and pull like a train to 5000rpm.

The eaton blowers DO NOT produce a lot of heat at 6lbs. In fact at lower boost levels they are more efficient than the twin screw blowers at the same boost level. It is only when you over spin them that the heat becomes a problem. Since it is not intercooled if you go with a smaller pulley you are going to need something to keep the temps down. A methanol injection kit would help, but your a going to be very limited to how much boost you can get away with on that blower.

they got 2 supercharger kits on frpp site the 2 superchargers are

M-6066-M463* Fits 1996-98 Mustang with 1999 and up Power Improvement heads. Fits 1999 and up with correct hardware kit

M-6066-M462* Fits 1996-98 Mustang (Supercharger only – installation hardware kit required)

and 3 diff installation kits the 3 kits are
M-9066-M461* 1996-97 Mustang GT (Manual Transmission)
M-9066-M462* 1996-97 Mustang GT (Auto Transmission)
M-9066-M463* 1998 Mustang GT (Manual Transmission)¹

so the supercharger will fit 99 up with correct hardware kit but what kit is the correct one to use? none of the 3 kits say for 99 up pi cars, anyone know what one would be correct

Alright... I got a 2001 gt with manual trans...all the hardware has been switched for install. I got bbk cold air intake, slp exhaust, looking into an off road h-pipe, and tb and some other random things. I am just confused on what is true and what is not? I have heard that it will run hot and then i hear it wont. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I want to get more boost but....I am clueless. I hope someone can help and give a clear response. I am thinking about the meth kit but....and smaller pulley? I just want some honest truth. I dont want to hurt my car. If anyone can help i would appreciate it. thanks

psi...it currently runs at 7psi....thats what the gauge reads...

i bought it off a guy with the same set up. rarly even used. I plan on installing it but i just wanted to know what i am getting into as far as boost and what not. I just want to know my max i can get out off it and what it takes to get there. i figure i would just get everything done before install so i dont have to do anything else to it. :nice: so....i just want some help. Because if i could just get a smaller pulley and not have to worry about heat or get it ported(how much does it cost to get it ported)......
