I have a brand new set of these valve covers that I want to use on my 95 GT

The problem that I am running into is that the oil filler/breather holes are on the wrong side. The one on the passenger's side ends up in the back of the engine and the one on the driver's side is in front. I was just going to try to install a breather in the driver's side but then what do I do with the big gaping hole in the other cover?? And what do I do with the vacuum line that went to the oil fill tube on the stock VCs? Has anyone ever run into this problem before and if so, how did you address it? Also, one hole is bigger than the other. Does it matter which side they go on?

Are you running those on a stock motor??? I had to notch them to fit around my alternator also. Remove those rubber grommets and the holes are both the same size....depends if your run a breather or PCV in the grommet. FRPP sells those grommets.

Pass side can use a plug...body shop may have one...they use these for firewall, trunks and such.

Drivers side I used a FRPP breather with a nipple and tied the vent hose to it.
Not a very good pic but you get the idea.

Thanks for the reply. I am running it on a stock motor with GT40 heads and Explorer intake with a 1" spacer. I had to notch the fiberglass rib under the stock hood but it all fits. I am thinking that I will try running this cap on the driver's side

and either a PCV or just a plug with a nipple on the pass side with a vacuum line to the stock location that the line from the oil filler tube goes. Can anyone tell me if this is a closed cap or is it actually vented underneath. I can't find any info on it. Your engine bay looks awesome by the way. My car is black and the red accents are steadily growing in number, red Eibach rear sway bar, red Taylor wires, and now these V/Cs.
