Ford recalls 03-04 Cobras

I've heard of this problem for some time now... wonder why they only mention the Cobras? I'm pretty sure this affects GT's as well.

If I had one, the pedal would be stuck to the floor all the time.

the pedal could interfere with the carpeting during heavy throttling and make it difficult for the pedal to return to an idle position.


Haha yea people probably have them to the floor and thats what causes the accidents

Happened to a guy out here on the dyno. His Mystichrome kept on a goin' as it was pinging the rev limiter.

It's on video somewhere ...

I'm going to try to get mine fixed, ASAP.

This it has something to do with the IUP pedals on the Cobras?

My carpet is lifting near the pedal, but i've never had the accelerator get stuck...would suck it if did though. I hope the extend the recall to GT's as i would like something to fix the damn carpet.
