So lemme get this straight..

Your linking to a post over at modular depot, which links back to stangnet, and has a title of "News on Stangnet: T3650 TSB".

I dunno, but that seems a little recursive.. :)

Sorry, just giving ya a hard time.. The original TSB post on stangnet should be made a sticky methinks..

Yeah I hear ya... :)
I did a search here for the tsb and came up with nothin'... so... I just thought to give it some air time...

My car went in this morning.

I left it with the dealer this morning, they say they have to order the kit. They didn't play 20-questions, so I should be fixed up by the end of the week... :nice:

hmm

I've got an appointment next week. I _just_ did my tranny oil too, I want them to recycle it if possible.

Now I'm cursing, why did I use sooo much gasket sealant on the tri-ax. Can't get the bastage off lol.

Do you think they will complain if I have LTs, I think I heard the passenger side needs to be yanked to get the tranny out. Boy the guys at the ford shop are going to love me, or they will just say 'no frekain way'

So what we have to pay for this ??

you just got the car, you'll pay nothing. As long as the problem is replicable it'll be covered. If it's just doing it a little i doubt they'll admit it as a problem. As for people without warranty the parts alone for labor are $1100 give or take. Installation is another $1000 according to the service advisor. I say screw them and get a Tremec TKO. That's what i'm doing. :p

Took my 2002 GT into Lighthouse Ford in Falmouth Ma. yesterday for this. They said that they were unable to duplicate the problem. The good news is that since the TSB indicates that the problem shows up under 40F they went ahead and ordered that kit and will call when the patrs are in and it's all under warranty.
