I am having problems with my ford UD pulleys I am getting so low voltage problems which can be very common but I really dont want to risk anything especially when I have to drive 40 miles to work everyday.

I am thinking of putting the alt pulley back on which is no big deal but I need to find the belt size for that since the stock belt is too long

My question is has anybody else done this and what is the belt size or Part # for that belt.

Your prolly getting that low reading at idle?? What happens you your raise the RPM's a tad...I bet it jumps right up..?

Mine drops at idle with the BBK pulleys, but it goes right back up when the RPMs come up.

If that's what is happening to you Koniz, nothing to worry about really.

i personally would leave the stock alternator pully on. cars we've installed UD pullies on havn't had any issues whatsoever w/ the charging system--we leave the alt pulley stock. might wanna try it for a while and see which you're more at peace with.
