Hello All.
My car, a 93 LX, has developed a starting issue. Sometimes the car will not start. I thought that it was probably the clutch safety switch, so today I got up under the dash to inspect it. It checks out fine.
But, I found a black box labeled Ford Vehicle Security System. I was unaware that my car had an alarm. I played around with this box for a few minutes and the lights began to blink.
I am unsure if this is related to my starting problem, but I would like to remove the security system from the car anyway. Does anyone know how to remove the system?
