Mach 1 forged stuff

Have recently purchased an '04 Mach1 and am wondering if this engine is the same as the Cobra engine but without supercharger. Does this engine have forged stuff?

im pretty sure it does not. but, as i dont have one, i cant be sure. while it does have the 4v 4.6, im pretty sure its not forged internals.

No, the internals are'nt forged like the Cobra. But if you have a 5 speed, the crank is forged. The auto's have a cast crank.

as long as you keep the boost low, like 6-8 psi, you will be fine with the stock internals. That will most likely put you over the 400 rwhp mark.
