The manual trans is the Tremec 3650. Go with 4.10 gears. Steeda UD pullies. Don't bother with a cold air setup, just put a K&N in it and remove the rubber air horn.

And this place does have a ton of info. So try searching for the info you need before making a thread asking for it. Chances are that it's been covered several times over.

Welcome to the good side of the force!!! Most people on this board will tell you to go with 4.10 gears. If you are going to keep the suspension stock though, you might consider 3.73s. With the 4.10s I hear that 1st gear is useless without the right suspension mods and tires....but then again, I still have stock gears. The Diablo predator is a great mod, but a little pricey ($299-$349). pulleys woke my car up a lot too. Not so much HP but seat of the pants torque was better. Congratulations on the purchase!

I know what you mean man. I have been having fun going to work in the mornings with my car. I drive a lot, and I couldn't be happier doing it.

I was sick this morning, and I was unhappy that I didn't get to take my car out today. I just had 4.10s put in, and I like them. They rev a lot higher than I'm used to, so getting used to that will come. It's a little weird driving 55 and hearing the car sound like it's between 65-70. But our engines like it, and I'm going to like it when I can step on it after the break in period!

my Steeda U/Ds are great, and every ones still got the great CAI debate going on.
If you want to do it, do it, plain and simple, if youre on a budget K&N, exhuast, and chip should be priorities, if you got good flow, buy what ever you want, you can always sell it later on e-bay

IMHO, an off-road x or h pipe should be priority number one.

Sure. If youre stupid.

Gears, shifter, mid pipe, lower it, and decent rear tires are the best cheap bolt ons.

Welcome !!
Gears(choose what is best suited to you,and your driving style ),exhaust,SUBFRAME CONNECTERS (Should be the first thing),k&n,lowering could be in there(4x4 sucks on a car),a chip for a good ol' tune, shorty shifter(shifting with a tower in your stang really really sucks ),and what ever fancies you.The mods are endless .

if you want a cai, go densecharger or kn those are the highest price, but you get what you pay for really there. They dont heat up nearly as much as many other kinds and are acctually shown to pick up some hp and tq

K&N filter is good, just leave the air horn on. The only thing removing it does is it takes away cold air from outside the engine bay at lets in hot air and it makes the car sound different. Not good. You're better off leaving it on.

Welcome mustangfan36.

Well I'm another long time Chevy fan with my first Ford. Just picked up an 03 Mach 1 w/ 9027 miles about 2 weeks ago. (Now it has over 10K) I love it, and am always looking for an excuse to drive.
