ok so i found a cobra upp and lower with 65mm TB on craigslist for 150. Is that a good deal for my stock GT? Eventually i would like the TFS top end kit but right now is it worth the upgrade or should I get shorty headers etc instead?. Right now i have o/r x, flows, msd cap rotor,msd coil, FRPP 9mm wires and K&N filter. Ohhh and wix filter lol

its meant for the SN95 cars so it makes a turn in the engine bay. The intake can still be used you just remove that adapter

I'd take the cobra over the gt40 personally. Unless it's some Chinese knock off

This, and for that price I might even go ahead and buy it, sit on it for a bit and ebay it even if i wasn't going to use it.

based on the picture the cobra one is oem compared to the chinese KO with the ford racing at the inlet

That second intake is an explorer intake. The throttle body is sideways because thats how it is on the explorer. The angled neck can be removed.


Explorer intake is virtually the same as cobra. You can usually find explorer intakes for $75-100, and conra intakes for $150-200.

That conra intake looks like an oem peice, instead of Chinese knock off. Which one to buy doesn't matter. For $175 the cobra intake woth 65mm throttle body is am good deal.

You can get explorer intakes with 65mm throttle body andminjectors for $100, but some slight mods are needed to make it work. No big deal if you want to save a few bucks

yeah the explorer one has a 65mm tb also that comes with it too.

If the cobra is an oem and not the Chinese part then i would buy that one.

Go with the Cobra esp if it's not chinese! Make sure there aren't any stripped bolt holes or anything broken. I'll buy it for $150 if you don't
