Found a T-Bird Turbo set up

Just found an 84-85 ish Tbird with a turbo, mostly intact in Barrys U- Pull it Auto Salvage in Mobile, Al. We were not in the mood to pull it. There was some fire damage to the driver's side, so it might need a harness and some sensors.

Just thought I would post this for info if anyone's interested.

Also had a 50 Ford F1 pickup chassis and good sheetmetal.

geez, you went all the way from SC to AL to go to a u-pull?? you realize there's two in atlanta and one in charlotte right?

Are you the guy who keeps taking all the Volvo intercoolers out of the one in Charlotte? I got my turbo motor and tranny for $150 out of the on in Charlotte. They keep it stocked all the time with something good, I just wish I had more money to buy the stuff.

no, I stay here in atlanta and havent actually been to either yard here in the past 4 months due to my g/f sucking up all of my time.

though I do know of a few people on turboford that frequent the charlotte yard...

I went to MS to visit the inlaws between Christmas and New Years. The yard is right beside I 10 in Mobile. We had to go to Mobile the next day to get a radiator for my daughters Explorer, and stopped in to check it out. My brother in law lost his cell phone, so, darn, we had to go back the next day, when we had lots more time to check it out.

There's a decent u pull yard in Savanah also, but I have not seen a tc there yet. When and if I do, it's mine!

For some reason, I just want to try hot rodding one of these 2.3 engines.

But today's big event was the purchase of a 68 Mustang 4 barrel 302 motor! I am going to use just the block, but these are rare birds, not much good for performance compared to current stuff, but wild to just find.

I usually don't have time to just go to a yard and look these days.
