I was changing the pcv valve today and i found a long wire with an eye style connector hanging around. It's behind the motor and reaches to the tranny and i'm guessing it's a ground wire that some tard didn't reconnect. It comes off from one of the harnesses near the firewall. Any ideas?

Sounds like the ground for the injector harness (trace it and see where it comes out of), hook it back up to the head or you can use the rear stud on the lower manifold.

mine is not connected either? i dont notice anything? should i bother to hook it up or not? i just noticed it the other day my motor was put in almost 2 yrs ago? dose this hurt anything.

I think it is the main ground reference for the PCM. Without it you may get into trouble when the battery gets really low. This just shows how adaptive the microprocessor control is if you aren't having any issues.
