My job takes me all over the place and into all kinds of neighborhoods.
So what do I see today, parked in a driveway with outdated Florida plates?
A 68 Mustang convertable. in primer.
I pulled over in a hurry and knocked on the door but nobody home . So I left a card with the Please call me if its for sale.
This car has a GT rear valance, with looked like a Borla exhaust, rotted top, some kind of Ratchet Shifter and BFg's all around, big ones in rear little ones in front, on those wheels with no cutouts.
Body looked real good but old lookin primer, and black interior
So now I know there there is a 68, a 70 and a 71 convertable, I offered 1200 for the 70, but the guy didnt call me back. I dont care cause its a six, but if he said 25 Id take it.
Never found out who owns the 71, and its still there. Now I see this really nice 68, but as far as these things go, finding one for sale is almost like winning the lottery these days.
