Well for the last couple of weeks I have been losing a quart of oil every couple of hundred miles.I FOUND IT IN MY TAILPIPES
The oil is not burning it's just passing right through so it must be the valve seals right? The stock heads have a 104,000 miles on them so I shouldnt be surprised. From what I understand the seals can be changed with the heads on the car but what kind of gearhead would I be if I fixed my stock heads.I was gonna do the H.C.I. in the spring anyway so i'll just have to move it up the schedule a little bit.I was thinking of going with the Holley sytemax kit and found it on e-bay for $2200.Anyone got any ideas on what I should go with?Could non burnt oil in the tail pipes be anything else besides the valve seals? The oil is in both tailpipes if that matters.
