Well for the last couple of weeks I have been losing a quart of oil every couple of hundred miles.I FOUND IT IN MY TAILPIPES :nonono: The oil is not burning it's just passing right through so it must be the valve seals right? The stock heads have a 104,000 miles on them so I shouldnt be surprised. From what I understand the seals can be changed with the heads on the car but what kind of gearhead would I be if I fixed my stock heads.I was gonna do the H.C.I. in the spring anyway so i'll just have to move it up the schedule a little bit.I was thinking of going with the Holley sytemax kit and found it on e-bay for $2200.Anyone got any ideas on what I should go with?Could non burnt oil in the tail pipes be anything else besides the valve seals? The oil is in both tailpipes if that matters.

How can you have oil sitting inside the tailpipes unburnt?

Like when I lost a dynamic turbo seal, one drop of oil into the exhaust side created a HUGE plume of smoke. I cannot see any way to not burn the oil out of the pipes.

I would be doing a leakdown test to further diagnose things. I would not do an HCI on a motor with significant leakdown into the bottom end.

Good luck.

I'm gonna go take some pics now.....I just pulled the PVC and it has oil in it.I'm not completely sure when the problem started but the pvc valve is pretty new I put it in a couple of weeks ago. It's not a motorcraft one it's a puralator with the two ports and you have to block one off.I'm gonna get a new pvc a start from there.Anyone got any ideas......

When I ask you this I do not mean it in a way that insults your intelligence or anything. But could it be that you might of just mistaked the oil in your tail pipes for heavily sooted condensation? I know condensation comes out a lot and I couldn't imagine with the exhaust being that hot that oil would make it that far without being burned. And if it were that much your car would be smoking a hell of a lot. But then again you say your car is loosing a quart of oil every hundred miles? I know mine looses about 2.5qts about every 3000mi. Some of it to the bellhousing and I think my piston rings aren't that great so some of it burns from that. I'd further diagnose your problem a little bit and I hope you have goodluck with whatever the outcome of the problem is.
