Well very small but still something.

I made that little copper iac restrictor thing. I had to go up a few sized from what other people used cause it would really idle horribly... I forget what size now but it runs good, but different. I think I'll have to get used to the non-hanging idle. I'm not sure if I like it yet or not, but I'll see.

I also got a nice set of non-pi to pi intake adapter plates. I bought them a few weeks ago and they just arrived a few days ago.

(anyone who used these ... did you use both gaskets or just one set) I bought them used so I have no idea.

I also just bought another (used, but excellent shape) pi intake. $75 bones... I'm happy with that. So it should be here in a few weeks.

Then it's onto getting a throttlebody and plenum and tuner... then the install.
I'm starting to get excited!!

It should be all ready for when the snow is all gone and I can put my good rims and tires back on. Then it's off to the track to get some times.

That is all.

I actually like the slow-dropping RPM. It makes for smooth and easy shifting, and it keeps the RPM high in between shifts when I'm racin.

But whatever works for u mate.

Well I don't know if I like it yet... I've just heard of a few people doing it and I thought I'd give it a try. It's easy enough to change if I don't end up liking it.

I'm just curious to see how it acts tomorrow morning in -15 degrees celcius...
I think that will be most important to me.

Gotta use both sets of gaskets on that adapter plate. Its only purpose is to smooth the transition between port shapes, gaskets still required on each side.
