I wish I had a pic to post, but ill try to explain it.

On the inner side of the rear caliper where there is the column of spiraling brake lines, it seems like its leaking from where that fitting gets bolted into the caliper. It may be from a fitting a little higher up, but the brake fluid kind of puddles up on that bolt. I tried tightening it, and it was snug but I snugged it down a little more. Not sure that helped though. Anyhow... its been a while since ive added brake fluid, but its still slowly leaking. The car stops fine and everything, but I kinda want to fix it, since you know... the brakes are kind of importiant.

If anyone knows what im talking about, any advice would be great. I guess Ill pull that wheel off this weekend and give it a once over if I get the chance.

The metal spiral (on the bottom back of the caliper) is the spring for the e-brake cable. If there's fluid on it it's probably trickling down from somewhere else.

Thanks man, that eliminates that then. Is there only one line that feeds into the caliper?

Yes, sort of right above that spring. It can either be coming from there or possibly (although doubtful) from the piston. I would definately check the banjo bolt that attaches the lien to the caliper first. If it's pretty dirty you can clean it real good with some brake clean and then work the brakes to see if it's coming out of there.

It's the banjo bolt.

You'll need to pick up two new copper crush washers from a parts store. Remove the banjo bolt, clean the area, swap the two copper crush washers and retighten.

You'll then need to bleed the brakes. If you do it quickly you can get away with bleeding that one caliper only.
