Fitrst thing we notice is something is definetly broken. Evertime I roll the tranny over I hear metal. Not good from the start.Tear open the case and find the broken parts. reverse band broke an ear and dropped the band ears. So no reverse. I was expecting the reverse servo seal to be torn. But this will work. At least I know what it it now. So I take out the clutch packs and just about laugh out loud when I see the clutches. Burned up. Funny part is these clutches are closed the whole time the tranny is in any forward gear. So these poor things were just over powered. I've been beating up this tranny for 3.5 years. So I'm not upset about this at ALL !! Only problem is the tranny didn't show any signs of wear before the turbo. The tranny guy I bought my parts from said the clutches would be god up to 600hp from a SB. He also said if I made more trq, like a big block, it would be time to upgrade. He was right. Everthing looks good. Spend 125 bucks and go anther 3 years ?
