Does anyone knows how to change the antenna base on a 87-93 mustangs? Because my 89 GT the antenna snap and broke at the antenna base and I have to chane the whole thing. Do I have to take out the passenger fender to do this? Is there any other easy ways?

Replacing the base is a nightmare. When I got my car someone put the antenna delete on it so I had to replace the whole thing. You dont have to take the fender off but you'll have to take the right front tire and inner fender out to be able to access it good. The antenna wire is attached to the base so you'll have to unhook it from the radio and snake the new wire in the car through the proper locations.
But like stated above, i'd try the easy out method first.

Replaced mine on my '93 a while back. It might take 10 minutes. GENTLY pry the cover off the ant. base. Underneath the base are 4 small screws. Screws are tapped into bottom of fender. Take out the screws and lift the base up a little. Ant. cable will come with it. Unplug cable, plug in new base, lower base back to fender, put screws back in, clip base cover back on, have cold beer, and say 'wow that was easy'.

Yeah that parts easy, its getting the old antenna cable out from the radio and under the dash THEN snaking the new cable back into the car. Its not THAT easy. Where the cable goes into the interior of the car is a pain to get to (behind right kick panel).

His cable is OK, he needs the ant. base. He shouldn't have to mess with the radio.
