Anyone try to install a vortech or similar supercharger into a 94-95 that was designed for a 87-93???
I always see auctions on ebay, and listings in corral for 87-93 blower kits going for REALLY CHEAP!!! Even new kits are cheaper for the foxs.
Is serious modification necessary to accomplish this task? Your input is greatly appreciated!!!

As I understand it, the difference is entirely in the bracket for the supercharger, the head unit & most everything else is the same.

Vortech does, but for the price, you'd be better off buying the entire kit brand new for 94/95. I keep my eyes peeled, once in a while they show up used on Corral or eBay.mo_dingo said:So does anyone sell the bracket seperately?

Yeah, I have seen a few on corral. For the price, you can't beat it. Much cheaper then a h/c/i combo w/ that kind of power.
Thanks!

hmmm....damn. Well that sucks!
Seeing prices for the fox bodies under 2k was really tempting.
I guess I can always get a used one.

Like was said, the headunits are the same, they just need to be clocked, which is easy to do.
