Anyone try to install a vortech or similar supercharger into a 94-95 that was designed for a 87-93???

I always see auctions on ebay, and listings in corral for 87-93 blower kits going for REALLY CHEAP!!! Even new kits are cheaper for the foxs.

Is serious modification necessary to accomplish this task? Your input is greatly appreciated!!!

As I understand it, the difference is entirely in the bracket for the supercharger, the head unit & most everything else is the same.

So does anyone sell the bracket seperately?

Vortech does, but for the price, you'd be better off buying the entire kit brand new for 94/95. I keep my eyes peeled, once in a while they show up used on Corral or eBay.

Yeah, I have seen a few on corral. For the price, you can't beat it. Much cheaper then a h/c/i combo w/ that kind of power.
Thanks!

I also believe you have to clock the head unit, as it's orientation is slightly different.

hmmm....damn. Well that sucks!

Seeing prices for the fox bodies under 2k was really tempting.

I guess I can always get a used one.

Like was said, the headunits are the same, they just need to be clocked, which is easy to do.

Mo_dingo i sent you a PM.
