Fox body Interior help?

I have an 83 fox hatch back w/ sunroof i just bought. anyway I am having to replace the floor pans because the rust is so bad from the sunroof leaking. it was apparent that someone tried to patch them but the previous owner did not take care of the problem. anyway that is not my question. I just bought a set of 96 gt seats to replace the old nasty ones and i was wondering if i could upgrade that old ratty center console to a newer sn95 style just like my seats? I just don't like the look of the old center console, any kind of tips and ideas and help is welcomed and greatly appreciated. also i'm trying to get out of this section of my "fix up" without too much fabrication thanks

Well, you'll need the entire dash and all the supporting peices. It's been done, but it's the sort of project that might take some $$ and the entire winter to complete

oh man, i guess that isnt going to get done. do you know if a 93 center swap would be easier?

Same thing really...but the dash bolts in. You need the dashboard and all the related switches and everything. Can't just swap the console really.
