Everybody who has done it complains about the touchy feel of the go pedal.

Is is that way on the older Stangs as well?

I have driven several Fox Stangs and don't remember their pedal being touchy.

Whats the differences between them?

If I had to take a guess....

Maybe in the throttle cable being so short....mine had just enuf to get it connected, no extra at all.....the sweep at the firewall was tight...although mine sweeps nice and linear...even when I check the TPS for max volts it was a nice clean sweep...

Maybe the 95 pedal set-up is different and positions it lower or higher contributing to the "touch"..

To me its like driving a dirt bike with a quarter throttle set-up.....takes some getting used to..

Complain? I dont see why. It just feels like more throttle response is there. I think its the way it opens the TB up in comparison to the 94-95 style.

Its similar to before when i put this nylon spacer where the pedal connects to throttle cable to lift the pedal up even with the brake pedal. This was on the stock TB setup and it made it "feel" different. All its doing i think is opening up the TB faster maybe.

I want to put a 65mm TB on my 95. Can the explorer TB be installed?

The Ex TB needs to have the ball that the cable connects to moved 180 deg...
notice where the ball is for the cable to connect....

This is a Fox TB....balls on the other side...this is correct..

Like Jesse said, it will take a drive or two to get used to. But if anything it makes the car feel faster. It just has way better throttle responce. Oh and Grady, I put that 75mm Race TB on and it feels wicked! The car pulls alot harder above 3k rpms, but it is identical to the 75mm below 3k rpms.

My bad boy 347 is doing very well. I had a part throttle and meduim load lean issue I had to tune out earlier in the week. I could just feel the car not pulling with a slow/steady 1/2 throttle burst letting the rpm's pull slow and steady (not an all out WOT blast) I looked at my wideband and saw 17:1  and I heard lean pops from the intake. I pulled over and added fuel in the low load and medium load section through the pms and it was better. Thats the joy of a tuning device unlike a chip where you're stuck. It may still need a tad bit of tuning in that area, but its way better than 17:1. WOT is pretty much near ideal and dialed in.

I already wanna pull the heads for porting and do a new cam :rlaugh: I need times on this combo though. I also need some 4.10's.

Thats great to see Mike.

Looks like you are taking the time and effort to dial that new combo in like things need to be. :nice:

Looking forward to some dyno pulls or strip times when you think things are all set and good to go to push it to the limit. :D
