I'm looking to get a cobra rear for my 87 gt. What companies make the best ones? Also what kind of tailpipes am I going to need? Will regular LX flowmaster tailpipes fit?

Yes i believe LX tailpipes are the same as Cobra pipes... they should fit perfect.

I would say Cervinis would make the best quality Cobra rear bumper, i have a glass one and it's great.. I havn't seen any others, just basing my opinion on what i have read on the forums for the past couple years.

Personally, I would go with Cervinis bumper cover. Also, the LX exhaust will work with the bumper perfectly.

Aright thanks. Do you know if flowmaster just sells the chrome tailpipes or do you have to buy the whole LX kit?

Pretty sure flowmaster sells chrome LX tailpipes, but i've heard they rust out pretty quick (flowmaster brand).

Flowmaster uses some heavy gauge when manufacturing thier tailpipes. I might do this if and when I get my car repainted.
