The tops look good enough but I see what your saying about the cars, yuck.
I had often thought of going the power route with a Taurus moonroof, or a Contour/Mystique.....there's plenty of roof line to work with, I just haven't been able to commit the time or resources to it. My only concern is how much head room might be lost in the process. At 6' 3", I need all I can get.
If you're worried that cutting a hole in your roof hurts the resale, one could always go this route if they wanted to.

Last year was 1984. Same for the T-roof.Early 80s coupes did have a factory sunroof. I believe the last year was 1982.
No, not for nearly 20-years now.I think you can still buy a mustang with a factory sunroof
