Fox pedal assembly in 1970 Mustang

Just shows what you can do if you are retired and have too much time. I wanted to try and use the pedal assembly from my 92 LX donor car so I would not have any "custom" stuff and could buy parts at the corner auto parts store on the road. I had to modify the 92 pedal bracket, bend the brake pedal arm, and put a raised bump in the floor of the wiper motor well to clear the clutch quadrant.
I will attempt to post a series of pictures if anyone cares. First one is stock 92 pedal asm.

The why is: 1) being able to use stock parts that are available at any auto parts store. 2) Did not want to pay $250.+ for a 1970 pedal assembly with a clutch pedal on it. 3) did not want to buy a cable conversion kit which in my opinion is not as good as what I did. 4) Hydraulic clutches are good but my experience is that race parts are not nearly as reliable over the long haul as OEM parts.

I made this clear as mud by not explaining very well. My 70 Sportsroof had a 302/C-4 setup and I am doing a restomod with a 5.0 HO/T-5, Mustang II frontend, 9" rear with MK VII discs, etc. I did not have a clutch pedal assembly and needed one that would work with the T-5 anyway.
I would not do this with a normal restoration because the pedals look quite a bit different and the clutch wouldn't work anyway. This is a less expensive alternative to keeping your stock 4- speed pedal assembly(if you have one) and trying to make it work with the T-5.

i rebuilt most of my 67 pedal assembly using a fox body, uses fox cable, quadrant, etc and works slick as hell
