fox pedal assembly

I wanted to know if the fox pedals and a sn95 pedals can be swapped?

i have a sn95 pedal assembly and was thinking of unbolting the pedals and bolting it on to the fox?

I would like to know also, I have an 87 Coupe that will be put together with the tons of spare parts I have. The only pedal assembly I have is a 96.

If no one answers you by next week, 808, I may just go out there and see for myself.

96+ later use hydroboost in the v8 cars and require mods to work...i am not 100% sure though

No clue about the 94-95 cars and 96+ V6 cars. The 96+ V6 has a different booster arm so the pedals may be different to compensate.

If any SN95 pedals were to fit, my guess would be you'd want the 94-95 ones

The pedal assemblies themselves are different. I found this out when I was converting my 1995 gt to 5-speed.

I forget since it was a few years ago, the one for the 95 was bigger, and I think the way the clutch pedal was set up was different.

You wouldn't be able to use a 96+ v6 assy. with a fox rod?

FWIW, AFAIK, the 94-98 pedals are the same except there's a vacuum connection on the brake pedal (for the CC IIRC) on the 94-95 pedals.

Don't take that further than you can throw it. I never had to test it.

Let us know. I thought I remembered for some reason the 94-95 one being bigger. It was like 3 years ago though so im not sure.

Well the four holes for the brake booster studs don't line up with each other. So its not a direct bolt-on, however, the holes are drilled in a plate that is spot welded to the front of the pedal assembly. It appears to me that you could drill or grind the welds to take the plate off, and cut your own plate with holes drilled to match the fox booster stud. It doesn't look very hard.

The top hole that has the bolt that goes up into the cowl appears that it would line up.
The rod for the booster also looks like it will work, it just goes on the passenger side of the pedal (because the SN95 pedal curves, the fox is straight).
It also seems that instead of using a vacuum hose for the cruise that it works from an electrical switch on the SN95 pedal.

I may try to modify it to fit later, and if I do, I will let you guys know, but it may be a while as I have other things on my plate right now.
