I know this has been covered many times but i couldnt find the exact info i was looking for. I know somewhere i can get a good deal on an s-trim, but its from a fox. My car has a fox/tb conversion already, but i assume the tube to the throttle body would have to be modified. My question is about the brackets, i have everything from a fox, could i change timing covers and all brackets? I think this would hit the overflow tank though. Just wondering if anyone has done this, what they did and how much it cost and if it was worth it.

i believe that the main issue is the pully spacing.....i believe one of them sticks out farther from the block....however im sure if you have some fabbing skills it could be made to fit!

One more question, would 30lb injectors with a 255 intank and bbk inline pump be enough for a completely stock motor with an s-trim?

If the deal is good enough then I'd change over to a 87-93 front dress, ditch the 94/95 overflow and install a hidden one inside the front fender.
30's should cover a stock motor with 10lbs. With that I would use just the high pressure 255 walbro. 30's with no FMU at 50psi (40 base +10 on the 1:1 for boost) .55 bsfc and 80% duty cycle will support about 370 BHP and you can push them harder than that. But stock motor plus 10 lbs I'm guessing 325-350 fwhp?

I'm in the same situation except I already bought an 87-93 S-trim for my 89 GT and want to put it on my 94 Cobra.

I hear the vortech pulleys stick out farther and our 94-95 fans are in the way...not enough clearance.

Has anyone actually done this?

The inline probably isnt neccesary, I didnt use one. 30lbs might be a little small though, might want to step that up. As for swapping brackets, its better to buy a kit made for your car.

well i have all the fox brackets and timing cover and stuff. The person selling the kit told me he has an overflow jug i can get with it when i buy the kit from him. The pumps are both from my old 1988 vert. The one thing i havent gotten an answer on is if it will hit the fan. Would you be able to get a slim fan like what most people us on foxes and get it to work?

your best bet is to just buy the correct brackets from vortech thats what Idid when I bought a fox kit from a buddy then you can sell the fox brckets on ebay and recoup some of the money

the reason i was trying to make this work is i have the timing cover and all fox brackets, and an overflow. Could i just use another fan like most people with foxes run? I can get the blower cheap, but that extra $400 for brackets i wont have and am going to use for lightning maf and 42lb injectors.
