Fox to SN95 Brake conversion - Suspension Questions

You will need to press in 94-95 ball joints or use a couple of washers. I wouldn't just ad washers. If you have evryhting apart just pull the control arms and take them to napa. They can pull the old ones and press in the new ones. I hope you have the brake lines from the sn95 cahsis because you will need them. Your shocks will bolt right up. I did this swap with svo parts. I bought a wrecked one for the drivetrain and suspension. I used tghe whole reardisk brake set up and it bolted right up to my 8.8. I bought steel braided line from a company off ebay for cheap. I used the svo steering rack and then sn95 front spindles. I purchased brand new hub assemblys from my work. I didnt use the 95 gt brakes or calipers. I paid 399(on sale at the time) for a 95 cobra front brake conversion for the sn95 spindles. 13 inch front rotors with dual piston calipers and steel braided lines. This set up kicks major ass. I used the four wheel disk brake master cylinder and booster off the svo. Then I ordered some proportioning valves from brothersd performance. Needless to say I can stop really good at high speeds.

Yeah, I know about the ball joints. I was under the impression that the ball joints were non-replaceable in these. I'm gonna buy new tubular a-arms anyway so I was just gonna buy SN95 tubular a-arms so I don't have to use a spacer on the ball joints. I've got everything for the brakes already. Now I'm just trying to figure out what year suspension parts I need. Will the fox struts work with a sn95 spindles and a coil-over kit? What about Caster/Camber plates?

You want the Fox-spec A-arms, and struts and coil overs.

The SN95 a-arms are wider.

You can press the fox balljoints out and press in some SN95 balljoints. I'd recomment Steeda X2 balljoints as they are greaseable.

For struts, run the Fox struts, especially if your car is going to be lowered. They have a longer range of travel than the Sn95 struts due to a shorter body.
