I am doing the conversion and i have all the parts except one thing, a CAI, now i have read where you have to fab one up but i have seen pics where JLts and some others were being used.. So i was wondering would one from JLT or preferably a anderson power pipe be used? As long as i get it for a 87-93?

I recently did the swap and purchased a cai off e-bay for like 40.00 , I just made a hole for the ACT. Works fine and it came painted red

I put a power pipe on my car.

I had to cut a hole for the pipe to run into the inner fender where the fox bodies have a hole.

Works great if you don't mind adding an extra 4" hole to your car

I thought I had some on my computer but can't find them. I'll try and take a couple at lunch and post them for you.

I ordered mine right from Rick at Anderson.

Cutting the hole is the only hard part. Everything else was very simple.

Off topic, but what kind of numbers does your 347 put down?

Edit: Nevermind. I just looked at the dyno numbers thread and saw. Nice.

Thanks

Those are actually pretty old numbers too.

That was done before I changed to the R302 block

I primarily run the car 1/8th mile. Best time was a 7.32 @ 95.4
