FR500 Intake. is it worth it?
Hey all,
I'm thinking my next mod has to be a proper intake. I'm leaning towards buying the FR500 Short/long runner intake. For those that dont know, the FR500 intake has the following characteristics:
made of magnesium
dual runner design (long runners longer than stock; short runners are direct port design maybe 4" long and are activated by a switch @ about 4k)
Questions are:
How would this benefit my motor?
Given the info in my signature, what kind of HP/TQ returns could I expect?
Is it worth the $2000 asking price (what i'm guessing i'll get it for next spring)...
Thanks all,
Chris
