The M has little wavy lines on the sides? It is just the mark of the wheel supplier American Muscle. It is not related to Ford in any way. They used to be called Mustang Tuning. So the M could be for latter, or the former. I believe the real deal FR500 from Ford come with no center caps, or with Ford Racing center caps.

Popping the emblem out from the backside is easiest. I wouldn't pry on it. Then push in your old center caps, or buy new ones.

My pony center caps from my original bullitts fit my FR500's. The SVT center caps I'm not so sure about.
