I researched / downloaded / diagramed ....everything about switching an EFI car to carburation - (especially here) viewed how others did this as well......and was really worried about what to save.... what to label etc etc etc.....
I finally threw caution to the wind, said F it and just started tearing into it - to my surprise it went pretty easy - I just took my time - took certain pictures + labeled certain things etc - it was a lot of fun - revitalized me on this - of course now it's a 113 degrees outside everyday -
Started 6AM-
The Before - The dual spark 4 cyl is gone - actually sold it to a guy for $100 (had only 79k on it) - his kid blew up his 94 Ranger motor - he was so excited to find one... he came over to help us pull it when we did it - so I gave him the tranny - I'm going stick anyway-
I labeled some items
just started at the front and kept moving back -
Next weekend - pulling the dash / A/C / steering wheel / column - then dropping the whole front suspension -
I just thought I would post this - I kept researching and researching and reading and I was so sick of seeing nothing done - so I just said screw it - I'll figure it out later - thought others may be in the same boat - I actually learned more taking it apart than any 'book'
