I have been searching around for a while and havent seen much in the way of freebie mods for my car. I own a 1997 Cobra 5 speed. I have done minor things to it with great results. Drop in K&N filter, removed air box snorkle, off road hpipe and 40 series flowmasters and of course 4.10 gears with a hurst shifter. There are a lot of LS1 cars in my area, and I am fairly competitive with the stock ones. There are however, some "factory freaks." One in particular dynoed 320rwhp its first day out of the showroom with 10 miles on it!!
I just bought a motorcycle to even the odds but they dont want any of it. What kind of free mods are there for the Cobras? I know that the LS1s have responded well to drop in, cut air box, egr delete etc etc. I figure anything I can do at this point in the game can only help until I have enough saved up for my WMS 4" high velocity intake and maf, chip, and springs. May also do a home port of the intake too, not sure yet.
